PPAZ

Uniting for Health

PPAZ collaborates with the government as a key stakeholder through the different line ministries that provide health, school, and other public facilities, commodity supplies, and the enabling policy environment for the provision of SRHR services and information. Cooperating and development partners play a vital role in making PPAZ service delivery possible, and they have legitimate interest in the future direction of SRHR services. PPAZ has since been working with Ministries of Health, Education, Youth Sports and Arts, Finance and National Planning, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), Global Affairs Canada (GAC), the Global Fund (GF), the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), Japanese Foreign Affairs, the Japanese Organisation for International Cooperation in Family Planning (JOICFP), the Zambia Federation of Disability Organisations (ZAFOD), and like-minded local and international civil society organizations. The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) has also been providing valuable technical assistance to PPAZ. PPAZ also works with established community structures such as neighbourhood health committees, community-based volunteers, and peer educators.
